
Willits High School is collecting canned food thru Wednesday, December 11th. Come by and drop off some canned or non-perishable food items in the office and help support a wonderful community organization this holiday season.

Cross Country League Championship in Santa Rosa on November 13. Brieana Evans placed 8th in girls varsity, Logan Simms placed 10th in boys varsity, and all participants ran personal best times.
North Coast Championship in Hayward yesterday. Incredible improvement throughout the year. Self motivated and hard-working athletes, who also know how to have some fun. You represented Willits High School very well. Last fall athletic event.




Wolverines lost to a very good Ferndale team today 35 to 7. Great season for the boys.


First home basketball of the year. Both boys and girls varsity lost to Upper Lake tonight.



Air Quality grant provided WUSD with another new bus. Great addition to the fleet.

Willits High School is currently under a temporary lock-down for safety reasons. There is no active issue at the High School it is being done as a precautionary measure.

The School Board recognized scholarship and sportsmanship last night. Jaeva Cash as Top 2% in the Nation ACT. Varsity Soccer and Varsity Football for making the playoffs as well as JV Football for winning the league.



It is the end of the first trimester for this school year. Minimum days have been adjusted to allow for final exams and teacher grade reporting time. All schools will have minimum days on Thursday and Friday this week. Only WHS/SHS will release on Friday at 11:15 a.m.

The Varsity Football Team has qualified for the playoff and will be hosting a home game Friday night at 7 PM vs El Molino. CIF rules require us to charge admission (11 for adults, 6 for Students, Seniors, Children). Come support the team in our first home playoff in a while.


I want to thank Stan Cooley, Jim Schnitzius, Coltin Doak and Aaron Branscomb for doing the repair on the baseball field.

Last regular race for the season, next week is the league's championship at Spring Lake in Santa Rosa. Way to keep working hard.


14 WHS Native American Club members attended the Humboldt State University American Indian College Motivation Day. Over 400 Native Youth from 25 northern California high schools gathered for prayer, singing, and college prep workshops.
