Welcome Blosser Lane Friends and Families to our Friday Night Notes!

BLES Families may drop off and pick up students in front of the school. The parking lot opens for drop-off at 7:40 a.m. no earlier. For safety in the morning DO NOT go in the Bus Lane. Please remember our Holly and Locust Street trail is open for students to walk to school. We have a staff person at the end to help students cross the road and get safely to school! The bell rings at 7:55 a.m. Gates around the campus will be closed at 8:15 a.m.; if you need to pick up a student during the school day, please ring the intercom at the far left front gate. For safety in the afternoon, cars are not allowed in the parking lot after 2:40 p.m. until the buses leave.

Blosser is participating in the morning mile before school on Non-Rainy Days!

Tuesday, April 23rd is a minimum day, dismissal is at 1:20 pm.

As a reminder, students cannot consume candy and soda for brunch or lunch.

If your student is sick or out of school, call the office to clear up the absence.

Please remind your student(s):

We ask that our students do not wear make-up to school and appreciate the support from our families.

For Safety, students may not use their cell phones on campus. If they need to call they may call from school.

Sherwood Elementary School

Kindergarten pre-registration is open for the 24/25 school year!

Sherwood Elementary School’s Kindergarten pre-registration is now open for the 24/25 school year! Kindergarten is for children turning 5 by September 1, 2024.

Sherwood Elementary School does not offer a Transitional Kindergarten Program.

We have open spots available in many of our other grades levels, 1st through 5th, if you are interested in transferring your student. Space is limited so do not wait!

To complete your pre-registration: Call the Sherwood Office, complete the online enrollment form and provide the following:

1. Birth certificate

2. Immunization records

The following immunizations are required to start school: Polio, DTaP, Hep B, MMR and Varicella. For more information please visit www.cdph.ca.gov. Enrollment will not be considered complete without the above documents.
