Welcome, Blosser Lane Friends and Families, to our Friday Notes!

Please note the following:

  • Tonight, Friday, October 17th, is our Halloween Costume Dance at 6:30 pm in the Blosser Cafeteria. The entrance is 2 dollars person, and Blosser students must have an adult with them.

  • Tuesday, October 21st, Eadry Day, Dismissal is at 1:20 pm

  • Tuesday, October 21st, make-up picture day

  • The 5th-grade music club has begun and is on Wednesdays, from 3-4 pm

  • Boo-Grams are on sale in the office before school, at brunch, and at lunch.  Boo- Grams will be 1 dollar and will be handed out on Halloween!

  • We welcome families to join their students every morning from 7:40-7:55 with our morning mile out on the Blacktop!

Please remind your student(s):

  • Wearing layers, the mornings are chilly

  • Blosser’s lost and found is located in the cafeteria

  • Do not drive in the bus lane during morning drop off

Mark your calendars for some upcoming events:

  • Friday, October 24th, show your school spirit and dress like a Pumpkin!

  • The Bookfair is coming to Blosser from October 20th through October 24th

  • Friday, October 31st, 4th and 5th grade will be performing Thriller at 2 pm on the blacktop

Please remember school is open for drop-off at 7:40 a.m., no earlier. For safety in the morning, do not cut into the drop-off line or drive in the Bus Lane.  Please remember our Holly and Locust Street trail is open for students to walk to school.  We have a staff person at the end to help students cross the road and get safely to school!  The bell rings at 7:55 a.m. Gates around the campus will be closed at 8:15 a.m.; if you need to pick up a student during the school day, please ring the intercom at the far left front gate.  For safety in the afternoon, cars are not allowed in the parking lot after 2:40 p.m. until the buses leave, and remember you can not park in the red.
